Lockable cover for mesh cable trays

OBO Bettermann now offers a matching cover for its mesh cable tray systems, which is extremely easy and comfortable to mount due to the locking function. This is another functional product in OBO's cable support system product range, with which cables can be easily protected and neatly laid in different areas of applications.

A special flexible profile is moulded lengthwise on the cover, making it easy to snap over the mesh cable tray wire from above. No tools or other accessories are required for mounting and dismantling. The unique design of the cover assists in draining liquids and thus protects cables from external influences such as dirt and moisture.

The lockable cover is produced in widths between 50 and 600 mm. Covers from 400 mm width have cross-beading. This special construction guarantees stability, even in large versions. In addition, the special form of the cross-beading prevents water formation on the surface.

The cover is available in three different surface versions. Hot-dip galvanised covers and matching mesh cable trays can be used in the industrial sector and in machine and system construction. The stainless steel version is particularly suitable for the food or chemicals industry and, with electrogalvanisation, covers and trays are suitable for interior areas without special requirements.

Overall, the cover rounds off the broad product portfolio of the mesh cable tray systems in an optimum manner and also leaves an excellent visual impression. The simple mounting and dismantling of the cover allow rapid and uncomplicated routing of further cables or general adjustment of cables.
