OBO provided the entire cable infrastructure for the AMS4 data centre in Diemen Proven products created a solid foundation for the data centre, where the focus is on reliability and continuity.

As part of the Switch Datacenters network, the AMS4 data centre was developed to meet the growing demand for scalable and sustainable digital infrastructure. Thanks to its strategic location close to important digital hubs and its direct connection to fibre-optic cable routes, the data centre offers optimal connectivity.

Cable management by OBO Bettermann

Cable management played a key role in this project. OBO delivered the complete  Kabelführungssysteme,  including Kabelrinnen ,  Cable ladders  and all of the corresponding Montagematerial.

Considering the heavy power and data cables that had to be laid, a robust solution was selected, consisting of cable ladders that are mounted in a three-storey vertical configuration, supported by a dual suspension system. This design offers maximum load-bearing capacity and stability, while also ensuring structured and efficient cable routing.

Sustainable solutions were also chosen for outdoors. Hot-dip galvanised cable ladders were installed on the roof, which are resistant to a wide range of weather conditions for a maintenance-free and long-lasting installation.

OBO provided a comprehensive solution tailored perfectly to the high requirements of this data centre project.
